24 March 2020 Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update

Quite bluntly if we don’t make the vessels we have to make, other people will suffer significantly.

Our vessels are to help supply medical gases to ventilator patients, heat hospitals, keep power stations running, supply fresh drinking water, shift sewage, and make food.

If we don’t do it, no one else will do it.

Sewage won’t get pumped, medical gases won’t flow, hospitals wards will go cold, drinking water won’t come out of the taps and the lights won’t come on.

No one else can do this – If we all go home, who do we hand the keys to ?

No one else has the machinery, dished ends or skill to do it – only we can do it.

I personally would be delighted to be able to go home and hope someone else picks up the keys and run the show, but that simply can’t happen.

Some roles can be done from home but we are a hands on business with goods coming in and out all the time, and many jobs simply can’t be done from  home.

Use PPE & masks where possible and keep 2 meters from the next person where possible.

KEEP WASHING YOUR HANDS AND DON’T TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH DIRTY HANDS.
